Can be obtained once you have seen the doctor (or nurse) and he or she is satisfied that you need long term medication. When you require a further supply of your medication you should present the side of your prescription completed with the medication you require. We accept telephone requests for repeat prescriptions but you must know the correct name of your medication.

You will be able to collect your prescription 1 working day later.


Community Pharmacy Minor Ailments Scheme

Only patients who are exempt from prescription charges are eligible for this scheme. Please ask at reception for further information. Patients with minor ailments such as cough, sore throat, headache, earache, temperature, nasal congestion, hay fever, head lice, indigestion, heartburn, diarrhoea, constipation, thrush, contact dermatitis, athletes foot, teething can be initially dealt with by the pharmacist who can offer medication if required and appropriate advice.
